A thorough exploration, and some might say expose of the food industry and the social and psychological forces that seduce us to eat more than we need and to want to eat even more. If you are curious about both the hard and the soft sciences behind food addiction, even the mild cravings we all experience when it's time for that Mac Attack, this book is a fascinating journey. At the end, there are also some general tips for swimming upstream.
