Synopsis: BLOOD RUNNERS: CHAOS AGENTS picks right up from where BLOOD RUNNERS: ABSOLUTION left off. The two young heroes from Book 1 are alive, but injured, after escaping from Longman Heller, the brutal dictator of New Chicago. After slipping under the city's massive wall, they're forced to take refuge in a quarantined zone, a forbidden no man's land overrun by flesh hungry creatures called Thresher. Barely surviving, they're rescued by a disparate group of survivors who are foraging for supplies. Taken back to the survivors' boat, the heroes volunteer to help the survivors find a rumored cache of weapons, but their plan is soon uncovered by Longman who sends his assassins to hunt them down. After a brutal fight, some of the survivors are kidnapped and taken back to New Chicago which forces the heroes and the others to decide whether to flee, or launch an all out assault on the dictator and his army
