Reading Companion is an AI-powered assistant built into Bookshare Reader mobile app for users with Bookshare Plus. While reading any book or document, students can ask Reading Companion questions about the material to support their learning. The assistant is context-aware—it knows what you’re reading and can help with the material in front of you. Reading Companion uses a Socratic approach—it encourages critical thinking rather than just giving answers.
Note: Reading Companion can only provide information related to the specific content being read.
