With Bookshare Plus, teachers can easily convert inaccessible documents into engaging learning materials on the Bookshare website. AI instantly converts text, images, tables, math equations and other STEM content into accessible formats that can be read with customizable audio and visual settings in the Bookshare Reader.
- Log in to your Bookshare account.
- On your My Bookshare page select the “My Documents (beta)” link from the left sidebar menu.
- Upload a document from your computer or Google Drive for conversion. Bookshare Plus AI converts the document into an accessible EPUB.
- Upload PDF or images
- Upload files up to 200 pages or 20MB in size
- When processing is complete, a pop up announces the conversion has been successful, and the options to Read Online, Assign, and Add to Reading List appear.
- Select the Read Online button to read the document in Bookshare Reader.
- Select Assign or Add to Reading List to assign the document to a student(s).
