Savor the summer with books in audio. Bookshare’s has a new collection of human-narrated audiobooks (beta), as well as many other books with text-to-speech audio with on-screen text.
Audiobooks are the perfect summer companion. Take one with you on the way to the beach, listen while cooking a meal, or sit outside and enjoy a story with glass of lemonade. Listening to stories read by amazing narrators is a great way to pass the time for readers of all ages.
How to Participate
- Make sure you or your school is signed up for a Bookshare membership
- Find cool audiobooks (see below)
- Start reading June 1, or whenever summer vacation begins
- Share what you’re reading on social media and use #SummerOfAudio
