Follow these steps to get Bookshare books to students in formats like audio, audio + highlighted text, braille, and large font.
School Account
A school account allows your child to log in and read books shared with or assigned to them by their teacher. Learn how to access assigned books from a school account.
Individual Membership
Individual Memberships allow students to find and read their own books, and, if the memberships are connected to their school account, students can also read books assigned by their teachers. Upgrading to an Individual Membership is free. Learn how.
Find Books
Standard Search
Enter your search term in the Search box at the top of every page. You can search by title, author, publisher, and ISBN. Learn how to use standard search.
Advanced Search
Select Advanced Search under the Search box. You’ll be given more options to narrow your search, and you can filter by category. Learn how to use advanced search.
Browse
Choose Browse under the search term box. Browse allows you to find collections of books arranged by topics. Learn more about the Browse page.
Read Books
Bookshare Web Reader
Students can read books directly in a web browser with Bookshare Web Reader. Learn how to use Bookshare Web Reader.
Popular Reading Devices

Request a Book
If a book is not in the library, you can fill out the Request a Book form.
