Es fehlen jedoch gerade für AAL-Technologien qualitativ hochwertige gesundheitsökonomische Evaluationsstudien. Die vorliegende Arbeit hat deshalb das Ziel, gesundheitsökonomische Evaluationsverfahren hinsichtlich ihres Einsatzes zur Abschätzung der Wirksamkeit und Wirtschaftlichkeit von AAL-Technologien zu untersuchen und eine geeignete Vorgehensweise zur Evaluationen von AAL-Technologien am Beispiel von intelligenten Rollatoren aufzuzeigen. Mareike Mähs zeigt, dass eine gesundheitsökonomische Evaluation von AAL-Technologien mit spezifischen Herausforderungen einhergeht.
