Darüber hinaus finden elektrische Widerstandsmessungen Anwendung, um Mikrostruktur- und Defektcharakteristika zu ermitteln und auftretende Struktur- und Verbindungsmechanismen zu separieren. Auf Basis der Bestimmung einzelner Anteile ver- und entfestigender Mechanismen wird ein Modell entwickelt, das die Leistungsfähigkeit auf Basis struktur- und defektbezogener Charakteristika vorhersagen kann.
