Charmed: Voodoo Moon
by Wendy Corsi StaubBad Noon losing Piper saw a thick, enormous black snake rear up beside the flickering fire. "What kind of snake is that?" Piper asked. "It ... it looks like the creature from my vision," Phoebe told her. "The snake that was going to devour that girl." "That's no snake. It's a loa, an evil voodoo spirit," Randy muttered. The monstrous creature turned its head toward them. Its eyes were twin pinpoints of flame. Deadly fangs jutted from its mouth. Piper had never seen anything that was so purely evil. "It's seen us!" Yvonne exclaimed. "This is it. You must use your power now if we are to escape." Stepping out of the shadows, the three Halliwell sisters joined hands. They advanced slowly on the loa. "The Power of Three," Piper called out to steel her sisters. They squeezed her hands. "The Power of Three," they answered back.

Charmed: The Crimson Spell
by F. GoldsboroughPiper's eyebrows rose in surprise as she lifted out a red ribbon, knotted in the middle. Where did this come from? she wondered. She was just reaching for the phone to call information when she heard a vibrating sound behind her. She turned to see a tall metal shelving unit, loaded with heavy canned goods, teetering. She watched in shock as it began to fall toward her. Piper threw up her hands-a reaction that usually froze time. But the shelving continued to fall. For the space of a heartbeat, Piper felt stuck in place, unable to summon the power that would save her. She screamed as the shelf swayed forward and the heavy cans tumbled through the air. What's happening to me? Piper asked herself. What's going on with my powers? Why didn't they work?
Charmed: The Brewing Storm
by Paul RuditisPiper stared at the gun the demon was holding on her, wondering if she could blow it up without letting the demon take her power and use it against her. She ultimately decided that a bullet would do less damage than an explosion. "Look, witch," the demon said. "I don't care about you. Just let me have the Earthshaker and you can go on your merry way." "I think we both know that's not going to happen," Piper replied, shifting her body so she was in front of Muriel. If she had to, she could try to freeze time if the gun was fired. Maybe if she just tried to freeze the bullet and not the demon she wouldn't have her power reflected back. Of course, the idea of freezing a bullet heading at her at the speed of, well, a speeding bullet, was no easy task. Then again, i(j was better than the other option: death.
Charmed: Survival of the Fittest
by Jeff MariotteThe door opened before they'd even had a chance to touch it. This time, though, they weren't met by a single, business suit-clad woman, but by four tall, muscular women dressed in pink sports bras, jogging shorts, and sneakers. Looking at their powerful physiques-broad shoulders, massive upper arms, corded thighs-Paige felt very small. Phoebe could take them, Paige thought. Between her martial arts skills and her levitation powers, even four Amazons didn't stand a chance. And these weren't real Amazons anyway, just figurative Amazons. She noticed that Phoebe had tensed, and believed her sister was probably weighing the odds as well. The women were smiling at them, but the mood had changed. Confrontation was in the air. "Ms. Winship is ready to see you now," one of them announced.
Charmed: Something Wiccan This Way Comes
by Emma Harrison"You're not going anywhere!' Paige said to the Anubi demon, holding a ball offire over his face menacingly. "Not until you tell us what you've done with all the witches you've taken." The Anubi let out a low, menacing laugh and a chill ran down Piper's spine. "They're all dead," he told them. "But we still have their blood if you're interested." Piper's breath caught in her throat as the Anubi turned its massive head toward a line of more than twenty canisters on the windowsill. If each one held the blood of a different witch, then there were even more victims than they had thought. Suddenly, Piper felt her whole body go numb. She turned and looked at Tessa and Taryn who were huddled together by the door. "That means that Tina is ... Tina is actually ..." Taryn took one step away from her sister and fainted, her body falling limp on the floor. Tessa crumbled next to her and started to sob. Her heart twisting painfully, Piper turned slowly back to the Anubi, lifted her hands, and just as Phoebe, Cole, and Leo flung themselves out of harm's way, blew him to pieces.

Charmed: Picture Perfect
by Cameron DokeyLucile Marshall was absolutely terrified. "The evil moaned. the evil's been set free," she Then, as abruptly as she'd lost her composure, Lucile regained it. She stood up straight, shaking free of Paige and Phoebe, and looked Maxwell Harrington in straight in the eye. "You fool. You pompous, arrogant idiot," she said. Then her eyes rolled back in her head and, gracefully as a silk handkerchief, Lucile Marshall folded in a dead faint to the floor.
Charmed: Mystic Knoll
by Diana G. Gallagher00* SNAkES. "Ahh! Ahh!" Doreen shifted from one foot to another to avoid a mass of wiggling green, yellow, and black snakes. She was terrified and fell into Larry's arms. "Okay, dear. Time to go." Larry slung Doreen's arm over his shoulder and helped her stumble forward. He started into the next tunnel and stopped dead. "I hope there's another way back." "Me too." Paige shone her flashlight inside the narrow stone corridor. The passage floor was covered with snakes. Several began shedding their skins. "Cross-country," Tammy said, taking charge. Ignoring the snakes sliding out of the rock pile, she climbed it. "This way." Paige let Joyce and Daniel go first, then steadied Larry as he carried Doreen up the rock pile. When Paige reached the top, she realized that cutting through the woods was only a slightly better alternative than taking the tunnels. The ground was alive with thousands of writhing snakes.
Charmed: Mirror Image
by Jeff MariotteAll IN All, paige thought, GOLDEN GATE Is A super spoocky place with NO ONE ELSE Around. "Timothy?" she called, hoping he was here somewhere, maybe just hidden by the roling clouds of fog. "Where are you?" A full minute passed, maybe more, before he answered. "Back here, Paige," he said, sounding strangely distant. "In the trees." She looked to where the sound of his voice had come from-a thick growth of trees across the grassy patch and flower be is from the windmill. Staring through the mist between the trees, she finally spotted a pale oval she thought must be Timothy's face. "What are you doing in there?" she asked with a nervous chuckle. "Come on out here." "It's safer in the trees," Timothy replied. "Safer?" Paige echoed. "Safe from what?"
Charmed: Luck Be a Lady
by Scott CiencinWithdrawing her toe and standing elegantly next to the bath, Paige told the second servant that the jazz station he had just selected would be more than adequate for her needs. When both were gone, she locked the door, slid off her robe, and removed the towel from her hair. She eased herself into the bath, which felt heavenly, and held her breath as she dunked herself, wetting her hair. Then she got out once more, put on her robe, and orbed away in a shimmer of blue-white light. She reappeared in her room in the Towers, a very different kind of wardrobe laid out for her. Phoebe and Piper had already changed, with Chloe fussing about them, handling a few last-minute details. The young woman didn't even jump around an orb anymore, which was nice. She had the makings of a truly terrific Wiccan. "My alibi's in place," Paige said, tossing off her robe and trying not to think about what she might do if their imminent encounter did not go as planned. In moments she was dressing for war.
Charmed: Kiss of Darkness
by Brandon AlexanderA Deadly Prediction With a knowing smile, the tarot reader walked over to Prue, Piper, and Phoebe's table. "I am Elena. You wish me to look into your future with my cards?" This is going to be a joke, Prue told herself as Elena laid down the first card. Elena's hand began to tremble. Prue jerked her gaze to the fortune-teller's face. It grew pale, a ghostly white, as though all the blood had been drained from it. "What is it?" Prue asked, trying to ignore the irrational prickle of dread that was raising the hair on the nape of her neck. "Th-this card has always been in the deck, but I've never drawn it during a reading," Elena stammered. She set it on the table, and Prue saw that it showed a crumbling black tower struck by lightning. "What does it mean?" Prue asked. Elena trembled again. "It is the most powerful card in the deck," she said slowly, her voice an ominous whisper. "It means that darkness will surround you."
